Games and Preschoolers

I love games. I don’t always have the patience to play board games with my kids, but we are getting there. I love finding other games that we can play and recently we discovered a simple game that we all enjoy. You take a penny and simply put it somewhere in a room. You don’t hide it under anything or put it up way high, just find a spot and sit it there. My girls love it because we can all particpate and everyone gets a turn at hiding the penny. We got this game from the Great Games Book. You can check out the review I did for this book on our sister site HERE.

Some of the board games that we mutually enjoy in our house is Candy Land, Hi Ho Cherry O, & Sequence for Kids. My 6 year old recently started playing UNO and last year she taught us how to play a game called Trash. We play with 10 cards, rather then the 8 the instructions say. Very fun game and she pretty much beats us all the time.

What are games that you play with your kids? Would love to read your comments on any of the games I mentioned or share any that your kids enjoy!
