Dapper Snappers

dappersnappers

Dapper Snappers is an easy-to-use and fashionable solution to droopy drawers.  The Dapper Snapper is recommended for ages 9 mo-5 yrs and one size fits all; eliminates the need for adjustable waistband pants; does not need to be removed for diaper changes; does not impede potty training; is adjustable to 4 sizes; components (snaps, thread, elastic, everything), including packaging are made in the USA; is invented by a mom! and is CPSIA compliant (see safety page.)  Read on for our views on this product or click here to purchase.  $8.95 ea, $23.95 / 3 pack, $39.95 / 6 pack.

Kim’s View:

As the mom of a very skinny child I was excited to try out the dappersnapper. My oldest who is 6 has the length to wear her normal size, but does not have the waist. Normal belts usually don’t even do the job of helping her pants stay up. Now we have found a new love for our wardrobe..the Dappersnapper. The first time that we put them on, I was a little skeptical of how well they would work. My daughter had a pair of pants that as usual were droopy on her and she constantly had to pull them up. We snapped the Dappersnapper on and I had her jump up and down to see how her pants stayed up (a common test we do with her pants). The pants did not start to fall down and she didn’t have to pull them up at all for the rest of the day. I’m hoping to purchase a few more sets of these to color coordinate with clothing and for the other two kids coming up that are slowly thinning out as well.

Christy’s View:

Lil Roo is one skinny three year old boy.  We always have the issue of pants or shorts that fit in length, not fitting in the waist.  I’m not even sure they make belts that size, but even if they do it would seriously complicate potty training (which is finally becoming a SUCCESS!) and I just don’t feel comfortable with the idea of putting a belt on him (would it be too tight or uncomfortable?).  I was very excited to learn about DapperSnappers, but even more excited to try them out.  Instant love as soon as we put it on!  It is elastic and only on the back of the pants/shorts, so it doesn’t interfere with the on/off process of getting dressed (for those do it myself-ers, lol).  He quickly forgets it is even there.
